On November 20, 2023, Soko Bags proudly launched its Eco Sorting Program at Jan Montessori School in Oyibi. The day marked an exciting step forward in our mission to promote sustainable practices and inspire the next generation to be champions of the environment.
The event kicked off with an engaging presentation to both students and teachers about the Eco Sorting Program, which emphasizes practical steps everyone can take to reduce waste and embrace environmentally conscious living. By adopting simple sorting habits and focusing on the principles of sustainability, the program aims to cultivate a culture of environmental stewardship within schools and beyond.
Hands-On Creativity: Customizing Eco-Friendly Bags
Following the presentation, the energy in the room soared as kids and teachers rolled up their sleeves to design and customize their own Soko eco-friendly bags. This activity wasn’t just fun and creative—it also reinforced the importance of reusing materials and reducing waste.
The students’ vibrant designs and the enthusiasm they brought to the activity were a testament to the potential for younger generations to lead the charge toward a greener future. Teachers also expressed excitement about incorporating the Eco Sorting Program into their school’s daily routines, creating a ripple effect that extends to families and the wider community.
